Born from a bad sunburn in Nicaragua and rebuilt for the line-up. The Nicawana Ahangama Surf Hat is the founder's answer to a question most hats ignore: what if it had to stay on, wet, for hours, in real surf? Designed in Madrid by Silvia, a surfer who got tired of losing hats and getting burnt, the Ahangama is built to do one job well — keep the sun off your face without getting in the way of your session.

What it does

• UPF 50+ fabric: shades your face and ears for a full session.
• Hard 360° brim: holds its shape wet, keeps a clear line of sight.
• Stays on: neoprene headband, chin straps, and an elastic adjuster dial in the fit.
• Floats and dries fast: rinse it, shake it, paddle back out.

Sizing

Measure the circumference of your head just above your ears. Size S/M fits 56 to 58 cm, size M/L fits 59 to 61 cm. If you are between the two, go M.

Care

Rinse with fresh water after every session and let it air dry. No machine, no dryer — treat it like your wetsuit.
