A warm, highly compressible insulation layer with a water-repellent shell and an oversized cut that leaves room for whatever you layer underneath. Available in Darkbrown and Green.

The Story

Selfhood is based in Aarhus, Denmark, and builds its outerwear around responsible slow fashion: fewer, considered pieces made from recycled and plant-based materials. This puffer is that idea in winter form – a mid-cut hooded jacket designed to be worn season after season, not one.

Fabric, Origin & Care

• Outer fabric: thin, stretchable 75% recycled polyester / 25% polyester, 120 gsm
• Lining: 100% recycled polyester
• Padding: DuPont Sorona® Padding, 450 gsm, containing 37% plant-based fibres
• Coating: water-repellent Teflon EcoElite, free of harmful fluorocarbon
• Water column: 8,000 wcp with non-glued seams
• Care: dry clean only – do not wash, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron

Technical details: mid-cut hooded puffer jacket, oversized cut, raglan sleeves, tone-in-tone Vislon zipper, adjustable bottom hemline, fleece-lined side pockets with hidden zippers. Made in China.

FAQ

Is the jacket waterproof? It is water-repellent with an 8,000 wcp water column and non-glued seams – built for drizzle and snow, not for sustained heavy rain.

How warm is it? The 450 gsm Sorona® padding is warm and highly compressible, and the shell is wind resistant.

Is the padding down? No. It is DuPont Sorona® synthetic padding, partly made from renewable plant-based ingredients.

How does the fit run? Oversized by design. Take your usual size for the intended look, or one size down for a slimmer silhouette.

Can I wash it at home? No – this style is dry clean only.
