Through years of working with epoxy surfboards, developing and testing pre-preg materials, we have developed the world's first EPS/epoxy pre-preg surfboard. This is a significant advancement in surfboard technology.
The term pre-preg describes a material in which the resin is mechanically pre-impregnated under controlled conditions. Pre-preg composites are cured under heat and high pressure. The baking process ensures a much stronger curing of the resin.
The effects on surfboards are numerous - more accuracy, less waste, perfect reproduction - but the greatest advantage lies in the performance of the key factors in relation to one another: flex and strength-to-weight ratio.
