Surfboard TORQ TEC PG-R

The PG-R is a groveller that offers high performance, even in average waves.
For this Torq model, the DNA of the Comp was combined with that of the Summer 5 to create a board that lets you catch plenty of waves and generate high speed, even in weaker conditions.
At the same time, it still allows for the tightest turns and vertical surfing.
The PG-R features a low-entry rocker and, thanks to its width and a concave-bottomed front section, offers ideal gliding properties, allowing high speeds to be reached even in mediocre waves.
From the middle to the tail, the outline runs into a classic shortboard squash tail. The single-to-double concave bottom and V-shape in the fin area allow for easy rail-to-rail transitions.
The result is a fast-accelerating board that perfectly translates generated speed into radical turns and airtime.
With the 5 Futures fin boxes, it can be surfed as a quad or thruster.

Control - Flex - Response
In TORQ Epoxy Composite manufacturing, one layer of 6oz and 4oz fiberglass each is used, as well as carbon reinforcements (in the tail and as a stringer). The underside is also reinforced with carbon in the tail area and additionally features a carbon strip that extends over the entire length, providing the board with controlled flex and lively response.

Due to the computer-controlled manufacturing of the blanks, significantly less waste is produced. No MDI or TDI. Much more environmentally friendly than conventional polyurethane blanks.
STABLE AND LIGHTER
6oz and 4oz fiberglass as well as a 6oz deck patch ensure more stability with lower weight than conventional polyester boards.
CARBON FIBERS:
Stronger - More Lively
Provide the board with higher elasticity than fiberglass. More lively in maneuvers plus stronger in high-stress areas such as over the fins.
EPOXY RESIN:
Stronger - More Environmentally Friendly
Lower emission of toxic VOCs during curing. Stronger than polyester resin. No excess/waste during processing.
