To keep it all under control, a deep double concave vee runs through the bottom into the fin area, allowing for fluid directional changes.

Control - Flex - Response
In TORQ Epoxy Composite manufacturing, one layer of 6oz and one layer of 4oz fiberglass are used, along with carbon reinforcements (in the tail and as a stringer). The bottom is also reinforced with carbon in the tail area and additionally features a carbon strip that runs the entire length, equipping the board with controlled flex and lively response.

Computer-controlled manufacturing of the blanks results in significantly less waste. No MDI or TDI. Far more environmentally friendly than conventional polyurethane blanks.
STRONGER AND LIGHTER
6oz and 4oz fiberglass as well as a 6oz deck patch ensure more stability at a lower weight than conventional polyester boards.
CARBON FIBERS:
Stronger - More Lively
Provide the board with higher elasticity than fiberglass. More lively in maneuvers plus stronger in stressed areas such as over the fins.
EPOXY RESIN:
Stronger - More Environmentally Friendly
Less emission of toxic VOCs during curing. Stronger than polyester resin. No excess/waste during processing.
