Built with UPF 50+ certified fabric for full sun protection and a removable EVA impact insert that absorbs board and wipe-out hits. The hard 360° brim holds its shape wet so your line of sight stays clear, and the neoprene headband, chin straps, and elastic adjuster keep it locked on through duck dives, offshores and wipe-outs. If it does come off, it floats. Quick-dry, lightweight, and made to be worn wet — the water keeps it cool through long sessions.

Measure the circumference of your head just above your ears. Size S/M fits 56–58 cm, M/L fits 59–61 cm. Between sizes? Size up — the elastic adjuster tightens the fit.

Is this a certified helmet? No. It does not replace a certified helmet and does not cover the back of your head or your neck. It is built for the impacts that actually happen in a crowded line-up.

Does it stay on in wipe-outs? Yes. The fit is adjustable and you tighten it before you paddle out. And if it ever does come off, it floats.

How do I clean it? Rinse with fresh water after every session and let it air dry. Exactly like your wetsuit. No machine, no dryer.

What is the difference between the Surf Hat and the Surf Helmet Hat? The Surf Hat (€49) is sun protection only. The Surf Helmet Hat (€69) is the same hat with a removable impact insert.
