It stays on because the neoprene headband, chin straps and elastic adjuster lock it down before you paddle out. If a wave pulls it off, it floats. Made to be worn wet, the water keeps it cool through the session, and the quick-dry fabric means you are not carrying a soggy hat back to the car.

Fit & Size Guide

Measure the circumference of your head just above your ears. Size S/M fits 56–58 cm, size M/L fits 59–61 cm. If you sit between the two, size up — the elastic adjuster tightens the fit.

Is this a certified helmet?
No. It is built for the impacts that actually happen in a crowded lineup — yours and other people's — but it is not a certified helmet and does not replace one.

Does it cover the back of the head and neck?
No. There is no back-of-head or neck coverage. It shades your face and ears.

Is it hot to wear?
No. It is made to be worn wet, and the water keeps it cool through the session.
