Patagonia Regulator 5mm Three Finger Mitts Black

Winter session, two degrees off the water, fingers are answered after the first wave. The mitt format of the Regulator line has a clear function: the thumb separately, the other fingers together - together they keep the warmth better than individual fingers. If you accept some dexterity, in the cold you have hands that you can still use after a whole session.

Patagonia builds them without neoprene: 5 mm Yulex® natural rubber, sourced from FSC®-certified sources, lined with recycled nylon and glued with solvent-free AquaA® glue. Constructed in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory in Thailand.

Details

• Neoprene-free Yulex® construction: 85% natural rubber, 15% synthetic rubber (by polymer content) - flexible, warm and without petroleum-based neoprene foam.
• Thickness: 5 mm throughout, the thickest version of the Regulator glove line, sized for the coldest water.
• Inner lining / upper: Solution-dyed NetPlus® recycled nylon inside and out, laminated with the solvent-free AquaA® glue.
• Stretch: Stretchy rubber and stretch fabric linings allow full paddling range without the mitt pulling.
• Warmth: Combination of 5 mm rubber and the mitt format, where the fingers are together - designed for water temperatures of 7-13 °C.
• Seams: All outside seams 100% sealed: glued threefold, blind-stitched, at high-stress points additionally taped internally.
• Closure / cuff: Micro seal cuff at the wrist that prevents water flooding, without an additional zipper.
• Panel construction: Ergonomically curved panels conforming to the natural posture of the hand.
• Grip: Textured print on the palm for a secure hold on the board.
• Care: Rinse with fresh water after each use, air dry, do not store wet or in the sun.

Available in sizes XS to XL. The curved fit sits tight; if you are between two sizes, we recommend sizing up according to the Patagonia size chart.
