The Nicawana Popoyo Surf Hat was built for one job: keeping the sun off your face through long sessions in the water. The idea came from a surfer who was tired of caps that slid off on duck dives and bucket hats that turned into sails on the take-off. So she designed a real surf hat instead. Engineered in Madrid, stocked in Europe, tested in the lineup.

The Story

Popoyo is named after the Nicaraguan point break – a wave that punishes any hat that can't hold its shape in the water. The whole range is founder-led and built around a few hard rules: UPF 50+ fabric, a brim that stays stiff when wet, and a fit that survives wipe-outs. No gimmicks, no performance fluff.
