The Story

O’Neill built the Superfreak line for the kind of warm-water surf where boots still matter — reef, rock and long walks over sharp ground. The Tropical 2mm keeps the protection and ditches the bulk: a 2mm FluidFlex and Fluid Foam construction with a flatlock-stitched body that stays light, flexible and breathable in tropical water.

• Neoprene: FluidFlex with Fluid Foam — a light, stretchy 2mm build made for warm water, not for winter.
• Warmth & protection: 2mm of neoprene takes the edge off cool mornings while the durable textured rubber sole shields your feet from reef, rock and hot sand.
• Split toe: the separated big toe gives you direct board feel, grip and stability on the wax.
• Seams: flatlock stitched, breathable seams — flexible and comfortable where a sealed winter seam would be overkill.
• Fit & entry: anatomical fit with an ankle cinch cord, heel lock instep strap and an easy-entry heel pull tab so they go on fast and stay locked on.
• Care: rinse with fresh water after each session, dry in the shade and store flat away from direct sunlight.
