Description

Our neoprene-free R1 Lite Yulex Vest offers full cold and UV protection. Its 1.5 mm material is made from 85% natural and 15% synthetic rubber in the polymer content. The plant-based material, rather than petroleum-based, offers the insulation and performance of conventional stretch neoprene, but causes around 80% fewer CO2 emissions during manufacturing. The material carries a Forest Stewardship Council certification from the Rainforest Alliance. A blend of chlorine-free synthetic rubber increases ozone and UV resistance to meet our high standards for elasticity and durability. The lining is made from elastic, fast-drying 100% recycled polyester. Thanks to an anatomical cut with princess seams front and back, the vest stays securely in place even during long sessions in heavy surf. Features include a 15 cm chest zip with an inner placket for skin comfort, a rolled hem with zigzag cover-stitch binding at the neck and arm openings, and a slim, welded hip hem. Flatlock seams ensure skin comfort. The water-repellent exterior material, made from 88% recycled polyester and 12% elastane, is especially stretchy.
