The Story
Some sessions happen where the thermometer says stay home. The Regulator is Patagonia's answer: the warmest bootie they build, made for water below 7 °C. Instead of conventional neoprene, it uses Yulex® natural rubber tapped from hevea trees, and the fabrics inside and out are Solution Dyed NetPlus® – recycled nylon spun from recovered fishing nets. A bootie that exists because the ocean it rides in deserves better.
Details

- Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.
Fit & Size
Available in US sizes 6 to 13. Patagonia's bootie sizing runs snug by design: order one size below your normal street shoe size for a proper fit. They should sit tight with no air pockets and no gap at the ankle – a microgasket only works when it touches skin.
Temperature: rated for water below 7 °C (45 °F) – the coldest rating in the Patagonia bootie line.

FAQ
Which size should I choose?
Order one size below your normal shoe size – Patagonia booties are meant to fit snugly without air pockets.
How cold can it be?
This 7mm version is rated for water below 7 °C (45 °F). For milder conditions, the 5mm and 3mm Regulator versions are the better pick.
Do they feel stiff at first?

How do I care for them?
Rinse with fresh water after every use, hand wash, drip dry away from direct heat. No bleach, no iron, no dry cleaning.
