Rip Curl's Ultimate Super Stretch line went neoprene-free for this generation: the foam is built from FSC-certified natural rubber, laminated with a water-based, solvent-free process. What you get is a full suit that moves the way you move – nothing stiff, nothing between you and the wave.

The Story

The E-Bomb is the stretch-first option in Rip Curl's wetsuit family. Instead of traditional neoprene foam, it uses plant-based foam from natural rubber, paired with a 100% recycled internal jersey and E7/E6 thermo linings – a suit built for surfers who measure performance in flexibility, not just warmth.

Water temperature for 3/2 mm:

2 mm	20°C and warmer
3/2 mm	15–20°C
4/3 mm	10–15°C

General guideline – actual comfort range depends on lining, seams and your personal cold tolerance.

Men's fit, cut slim for minimal bulk under the chest zip entry. Available in sizes S, M, MT, L, LT, XL and ST – including tall (T) and short (S) body lengths. A wetsuit should sit snug everywhere, with no air pockets or gaps at the neck, wrists or knees. When in doubt between two sizes, the slimmer option usually gives the best seal. FAQ

What does 3/2mm mean?
3 mm over the torso for warmth, 2 mm on the arms and legs for maximum flex. A good choice for milder water and all-round use.

Is this wetsuit really neoprene-free?
The foam is made from plant-based material with FSC-certified natural rubber instead of traditional neoprene, and the lamination is water-based and solvent-free.

Why a chest zip?
A lightweight front-entry zipper keeps the profile low and flushes out less water than a back zip, while still being easy to get into.

Will it feel stiff at first?
New wetsuits always need a few sessions to break in – the foam, lining and taped seams soften and mould to your body with use.

How do I care for it?
Rinse with fresh water after every session, dry in the shade away from direct sunlight and store flat. Never machine wash or tumble dry.

Is there a warranty?
Rip Curl offers a three-year warranty on stitching and a 12-month warranty on materials, including neoprene, kneepads, liquid tape and zips, when purchased from an authorised retailer.
