The Rip Curl Flashbomb has spent over a decade earning its reputation as the fastest-drying wetsuit in the line-up, and the 4/3 Chest Zip version is the go-to for cold-water sessions where you want warmth without the bulk. Built around 96% stitch-free construction with Rip Curl's Fusion Dry Seam technology, the seams are welded rather than sewn, so there's nowhere for the water to sneak in over the long run.
Inside, the suit is lined from chest to ankle with 100% E7 Flash Lining – a high-pile, rapid-dry fabric that traps heat and sheds water fast between sessions. E6 Flash Lining handles the lower panels, and the whole package sits on Rip Curl's proven E7 neoprene in a 4/3mm thickness rated for water temps from 10 to 17°C. A chest-zip entry keeps the back panel flush for paddle freedom and limits flush-through.

FAQ
What water temperature is this suit for?
The 4/3mm Flashbomb is rated for water between 10 and 17°C – typical European winter and shoulder-season conditions.
How does it dry so fast?
E7 Flash Lining is a high-pile, hollow-fibre fabric that pushes water outwards and dries much quicker than standard thermal linings.
Is the chest zip easy to get in and out of?
The zip is reversed to reduce fuss, and the wide chest-zip entry gives plenty of room to get the suit on and off solo.
What warranty comes with it?
Rip Curl covers stitching for 3 years and materials (neoprene, kneepads, liquid tape, zips) for 12 months when bought from an authorised dealer.
