The Story

The Authentic is the classic Vans silhouette: clean lines, nothing you do not need. The Skate Classics rebuild keeps that honesty and upgrades everything you cannot see - PopCush footbed for impact protection, DURACAP underlays in high-wear areas, SickStick rubber in the outsole. Same idea, engineered for modern skateboarding, with the high cut adding coverage around the ankle.

Construction & Details

• Upper: Suede toe with heavy-duty Cordura canvas sidewall, finished with a woven CORDURA label on the side.
• Footbed: PopCush insole - impact protection and less leg fatigue when the session runs long.
• Sole: SickStick rubber outsole in the signature waffle pattern, vulcanized for board feel and flexibility. Two-part foxing keeps the sole in close contact with the board.
• Reinforcement: DURACAP underlays in high-wear areas, a molded heel counter for structure and an internal heel shank in the midsole for support.
• Grip: A tougher toe bumper knurl and the redesigned waffle tread hold the board where you put it.
• Fit details: Bungee-style laces, metal eyelets and internal tongue straps keep the lacing locked and the tongue in place.
• Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth, air dry away from direct heat, no machine wash.
