XTRATUF builds the upper from Bioprene, a bio-based rubber foam, so it is 100% waterproof, and the chevron outsole gives you slip-resistant, non-marking grip. Are these boots waterproof? Yes. The upper is XTRATUF Bioprene, a bio-based rubber foam that is 100% waterproof – water stays out when the deck or the street gets wet.

How warm are they? Warmth comes from the faux shearling lining. XTRATUF does not publish a temperature rating, so dress for a cold, wet season rather than a fixed degree figure.

Can I wear them on ice? The chevron outsole is slip-resistant on wet ground. For proper wet-ice grip, XTRATUF builds its GlacierTrek PRO compound into the separate ICE version of this boot.

I usually wear a half size – which one do I get? Half sizes are not offered in this rubber boot. XTRATUF recommends ordering up, and thick winter socks are one more reason to do so.

How do I care for rubber boots? Wipe clean with a damp cloth and air dry away from direct heat. To keep the rubber surface in shape, re-apply waterproofing spray periodically.
