Our team has set ambitious sustainability goals. Whether big or small, all our efforts lead to positive changes. To earn the Checkerboard Globe logo, at least 30% of the product must be made from one or a combination of recycled, renewable, and/or regenerative materials.

Product Features:
• UPPER MATERIAL: Made from leather and 100% recycled PET textiles. Vans supports responsible leather production through the Leather Working Group.
• MIDSOLE: The new midsole is made from at least 50% bio-based EVA foam, partially derived from plant sources in accordance with ASTM D6866-16 testing standards.
• OUTSOLE: All the rubber used to manufacture this outsole (60% of the blend) is regeneratively grown natural rubber sourced from farms utilizing practices to promote biodiversity, optimize water cycles, improve soil health, and/or sequester carbon. This natural rubber blend has been engineered to maintain the grip and durability that Vans has been known for since 1966.
